I am a research epidemiologist (PhD) with a strong foundation in mathematics and biostatistics (MSc). Over the past 12 years, I have developed an international publication record and held several academic affiliations in Sweden and Canada with current dual residence in Montreal (QC), Canada and Stockholm, Sweden. My current research project with CR-CHUM focuses on sex and gender differences in health outcomes in people who inject drugs (PWID).

My consultancy service Levinsson EpiC provides advice and product creation for every step of the epidemiological research process; from formulation of research questions, study design and grant writing to publication of results such as conference presentations, scientific articles and policy briefs.
Services are offered across the EMEA and Canada.

Specialty research areas include:
Cardiovascular, psychiatric, and genetic epidemiology
Sex and gender as social determinants of health
Radicalization and social polarization as public health issues
Pharmacogenomics and pharmacoepidemiology
Gene-environment interaction studies

Summer of 2019, I participated in the Emerging Health Leaders program at McMaster University’s De Groote School of Business, an intensive 2-week immersive program focused on personal growth and team leadership. This experience inspired me to invest more in leadership and management, thus I completed module 1 of the McGill University International Master of Health Leadership. I have also participated in several leadership events in Montreal, Ottawa and Boston.
